Easter Egg Scoop

Baby Summer and I had so much fun with this adorable + easy Easter Egg Scoop activity.

I don't know about your little ones but mine loves sensory play, specifically with water. This easy and inexpensive activity was so easy to set up and kept my little one smiling and giggling for hours. She loved it!

I bought the sensory (plastic storage) bin at Target and filled it with water, Eco Easter Eggs, silicone kitchen utensils-were from Costco and Green Toys stacking cups. We use all of these items a lot and have been some of my most favorite purchases. I decided to put the sensory bin in the tub this time for easy clean up since Summer can sometimes get a little too enthusiastic with the splashing and get water everywhere! You can have your little one practice scooping up the Easter Eggs with the spoons and place them into different sized cups and bowls. Another fun idea is to fill some of the eggs with water and let them shake the eggs and hear the water swish around inside. When playing with your child, try to talk to them about what they are doing and hearing. Watch their reaction, you will be amazed!

The Easter Egg scoop quickly turned into an Easter Egg Bath because Summer wanted to get in the sensory bin lol. She always tries to put her feet and arms all the way in or tries to just climb in over the edge. For the Easter bath, I just dumped the toys in and filled up the bath with warm water and bubbles. We have been loving the Everyone Soap in Citrus Mint.

This was such a fun activity with Easter right around the corner, I just had to share. We will definitely be doing this activity again in the near future. xx
