What You Can Expect From My Blog

Hi! Welcome to BabysInTheKitchen! I started this blog as a creative outlet for myself as a new mom. I am currently a stay at home mom, and loving every minute with my sweet baby girl. I am also hoping to share creative and useful information with others that I have picked up along the road to motherhood. I like to think of this blog as a creative journal of my many adventures as a new mom. Even if you're not a mom, I hope you will find my blog useful and entertaining!

About Me
I am married to my best friend, Harrison. We have been together for 11 years and have been married for two years in June.
We have a beautiful baby girl named Summer, who is 13 months old. I feel so blessed that I get to stay home with our sweet baby girl.
We have two dogs named Lily and Mia, who will be turning 8 this month!
I am an early childhood educator. I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and have a Post Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught both Kindergarten and Preschool in the Public School setting. Most recently prior to becoming pregnant I was the director of my own Preschool school site!

I love thinking of new ways to encourage learning through play and early literacy. I also love baking, travel, fashion, photography and home decor. I also am passionate about healthy living and try to use only safe + natural products and foods in our home. My husband and I recently built and purchased our first home together which has been a beautiful exciting adventure. I hope to share more as I continue to make our home ours.

What you can expect from my blog is fun activities to do with your kids, DIY projects, mommy tips, must-have products, recipes and adventures as a family of three. A lot of my activities will be geared towards babies and toddlers since my daughter is currently 13 months old, but I know older children will also enjoy them. I will be giving you new recommendations and tips as they come about. I have learned so much already as a new mom and continue to learn more each day. I would love to share this information with others. Being a new mom is tough (to say the least) but it has also been the most life changing + rewarding experience ever. We are all in this together.
